YOU’RE READY TO START LISTING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

  1. Click PRODUCTS -> ADD NEW PRODUCT
  2. Use Dropdown menu to choose either SIMPLE or VARIABLE Product
  3. Add PRODUCT TITLE (or SERVICE) eg. Environment Waste Removal
  4. Add price if you have a set price, or 0.00 if you are listing services done by quote or similar.  An ENQUIRY tab will greet the member rather than ADD TO CART
  5. Feel free to add a SALE Price, you can also schedule the price change date to  happen automatically.  More on that later
  6. Add a Description of your Product or Service.  Both short and long description is best even if you duplicate the information
  7. Upload image or if it’s not a product, an image of some sort adds interest to your profile listing.
  8. Choose a category.  You can choose as many as you fit into.
  9. The only other information that is useful to your listing is the PAYMENT OPTIONS one. 
  10. Unless INVENTORY, SHIPPING etc is relevant, scroll to the bottom and click save.

We are rolling out the site in stages so we all don’t get overwhelmed with details.

Due to every member having their own log in, there are some issues that we are looking at the best solution for – and that is payment between members.

At this time, payment by credit card is not available through the website, as every member could potentially have to secure a payment gateway to take these details, and that is not feasible when there are close on 500 members trading through the site.

Our recommendation for both security and ease of tracking orders at this early stage, is to either have your Bank Account details, or other methods of payment noted in the PAYMENT OPTIONS tab so that when a sale is made, the member has your details immediately.

With the influx of alternative payment gateways such as G Pay, E-wy, Poli Pay and so on, a more seamless payment system between members is in the pipeline.  In the interim however, security is a far greater consideration and we certainly welcome any feedback surrounding this.

We had one meeting with Ian and found there was a number of changes we could make that improved our cover and saved us money.  With ACC, I was paying as a Dairy farmer rather than as an Office worker.  We applied for ACC Cover plus Xtra, after Ian explained to us all the benefits.  When Ian left us, we felt as if he had gone through everything with us as if we were one of his family, a very thorough job.

I graduated with First Class Honours in Agriculture from Massey University in 2009. My thesis involved investigating the effect of Gibberellic acid and nitrogen on pasture dry matter yield using the commercially available product ProGibb® SG (a.i 40 Gibberellic acid). This research concluded that Gibberellic acid is another useful tool available to farmers to help them achieve the balance between feed supply and demand. My parents farm at Waihi and have been using Gibb-Gro (a.i. 90 Gibberellic acid) since last spring after previously using ProGibb® SG. I am seeing no major variation in the dry matter responses achieved with Gibb-Gro compared to those achieved with ProGibb® SG. The one difference that is noticeable between these two commercially available Gibberellic add based products however is the cost per hectare with Gibb-Gro being noticeably cheaper. We continue to use Gibb-Gro.
